On the 6th of February, INEGI - Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering will join the discussion on the Defense’s future and the opportunities created by the incentives of the Portugal 2030 program, with the Ministry of National Defense, the CINAMIL - Center for Research, Development and Innovation of the Military Academy, the Portuguese Platform for Defence Industries (idD) and the AuxDefense consortium.
Nuno Correia, director of Materials and Composite Structures at INEGI, will be one of the speakers at the "Defense 2030 Workshop - Challenges and Opportunities". In his talk, he will address the projects developed by INEGI in the Defense sector and the new European contexts in this area.
The event will take place at the Military Academy in Lisbon and is organized in the scope of AuxDefense
, a project funded by the Ministry of National Defense that aims to develop innovative military equipments.
