Coordinated in Portugal by the Institute of Science and Innovation in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (INEGI), the ACTTiVAte – pAn-European Clusters for Technology Transfer and new VAlue chains – aims to support innovation in SMEs and foster the smart reindustrialization of Europe. This will be achieved by enabling the emergence of new cross-sectoral value chains resulting from the translation of advanced technologies among ed sectors with strong synergies.
In this context, during the workshop organized by INEGI, several SMEs supported by ACTTiVAte will present demonstrative prototypes of the technologies that have been transferred to the health and agrifood sectors. Throughout the day, a discussion will be promoted with Portuguese and European public funding agencies and innovation investment funds on the existing funding mechanisms for technology transfers. Moreover, it will be possible to attend B2B meetings with companies from the two sectors.
The ACTTiVAte project is funded by the European Horizon 2020 program and was developed by a large consortium, comprising sectoral clusters, research and technological development centres and companies from Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Poland and Portugal
